Kaitlin Mulvihill, LLMSW, MT-BC (she/her)
Your well-being is at the heart of our work together and I'm here to empower you. In a world where our pain often goes unheard, finding a space to share our stories can be challenging. My approach emphasizes empathy and warmth and I believe that healing and growth happen when individuals are heard and valued within a safe and supportive environment.
I earned my degree in Music Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and my Master of Social Work from Michigan State University and have experience in hospice and palliative care, bereavement, and other medical settings. My focus lies in guiding individuals through challenges such as grief and loss, life transitions, feelings of isolation, low self-worth, and relationship issues. I am EMDR trained, IFS informed, and HAES informed.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I'm an avid reader, music enthusiast, and artist. These personal pursuits mirror my belief in the importance of creative expression as a way to nourish the soul.
My practice prioritizes inclusivity and affirmation for all genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds. Everyone deserves to feel seen and valued, with their identity celebrated as an integral part of their journey.
At Allow Therapy, I'm excited to combine my music therapy background with the principles of social work to create a space where compassion, empathy, and creative expression intertwine. I'm dedicated to fostering a space where clients can explore their feelings, triumphs, and challenges, while nurturing their own innate strengths.
