Sarah Saunders, LMSW (she/her)
As an LGBTQ+ therapist with a commitment to anti-racism, I am dedicated to creating a space that fosters courage, healing, and authenticity. Building trust in ourselves and others is at the heart of this work. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA2S+ community, along with allies and family members. I am experienced in supporting people living with HIV and other chronic illnesses. I also work with polyamorous folks as they navigate life and relationship dynamics.
I offer a tailored approach in order to meet the needs of each person. My philosophy integrates aspects of EMDR, Internal Family Systems Therapy, mindfulness, somatics, creative expression, relational techniques, and trauma-informed care within the healing journey. I also welcome a focus on social justice, community, and allyship. You are on a unique path, and therapy offers an opportunity for depth. If this resonates with you, I welcome you to reach out anytime.
